Things to know about registering with Emergency Volunteering:
- We match and refer volunteers to disaster and emergency management agencies, including all levels of government, charitable organisations and community groups.
- Your organisation must coordinate the volunteer opportunity, provide orientation and other relevant training.
- Emergency volunteers have varying levels of skills, experience, and flexibility in terms of location and availability.
- Responding to an emergency is complex and requires a high level of coordination.
